I started the questions behind Because You Asked over ten years ago. People coming to Christ or wondering what the Bible says about such and such are in very similar straits. People tend to focus on the same sort of questions and seek to have answers for those questions. So, the four books on questions that eventually developed were written as an aid to help new and older Christians to begin to develop a Biblically based theology.

Originally, I did not see a market for these books, and posted them on Kindle (it was new in those days). I posted them halfheartedly and received as fruit all the expectations of my efforts. They were somewhat of a hit on social media, and even in a limited fashion on my blog. But in going back and looking at them nearly a decade later, I came to realize that there may be a bigger market for them than I thought. These questions are an attempt to give to Christians a basic beginning and I have seen them start many Christians thinking (and even a few non-Christians) about something they have never really thought through.

It is for those people that I am seeking to publish these books anew, this time in paperback. I will endeavor to maintain a blog (on this page) so that I might give feedback to those who find the books interesting. In the early days I had some interaction with others as they tried to come to grips with these questions, and began thinking about God’s directions for our everyday living.

My qualifications? No big list. I merely have had a degree in Biblical Studies from Biola, a smattering of classes at Talbot, and a life-long pursuit of Christian living. I have found the Christian life (after 50 years) to be absolutely everything God promised it to be. I am living an abundant life and hope to share some of that with you.
